Birthday Wishes and Sad News

It's hard to put both these things in one post, they each deserve their own, but I don't really know what else to do.....

Happy 5th Birthday to my sweet Lindsey! What a precious gift we've been given in her. Sometimes she tries our patience to no end :-) but I wouldn't trade a minute of any day with her, for anything! I love you little Wu!

Yesterday was our 4 year Gotcha Anniversary too. May 31, 2004 - a day that changed our lives forever! I am so thankful for my beautiful daughter.

The sad news is that my dad passed away on Friday night. He had been ill for some time and was currently in a nursing home so it wasn't totally unexpected, yet at the same time we didn't expect it. It happened pretty fast. He died peacefully with his four daughters at his side. We lost our mom last July so it's been a very difficult year for our family. We would appreciate your prayers.

More on everything at a later date. Life is going to be pretty busy for awhile...

Happy b-day to Lindsey!

We are very lucky to have these little girls in our lives, aren't we? I think about it every day ... what a miracle it is that we were able to adopt from Communist China ... a country that couldn't be more different from ours and on the other side of the world! Lucky us! :)

Again, so sorry about your dad.
