Spring?

So sorry it's been almost a month since I posted last! Things certainly are looking different around here now. Check out my front yard! (a bonus glimpse of Lindsey and Chester too!)



This was the same front yard just a month ago:




We're supposed to get some more snow tomorrow. :-( But I don't think much and at this point in the year snow doesn't last that long anymore. We still have a long way to go, we've had a TON of snow this winter and it will be awhile before all of it is gone. But it's getting there!

Highs in the 30's for Easter Sunday. They should make Easter snowsuits for little girls in Wisconsin instead of sleeveless Easter dresses! It's so hard finding appropriate clothing for them for Easter.

I will try to write some sort of meaningful update one of these days. Don't hold your breath waiting though! :-)

Edited 3/21 to add: I really like when I comment on someone's blog and I don't have to go through the extra step of doing the word verification (am I lazy, or what?). So I decided to take that off my blog for commenters, but I have gotten numerous spam comments since then, so it's back on. Sorry about that!

Finally!

I was able to take the girls outside for awhile both days this weekend. We've either been in the middle of a snowstorm or it was just way too cold to take them out most of this winter. Jay snowblowed a path around part of the yard so the girls (and the dog!) could walk around.

I Can't Complain

It's gorgeous outside! So how can I complain about the snow? I will say I hope this is the last of it though, bring on Spring!

Sunday

It's not over yet. More snow today, more tomorrow. And we were SO close to having no snow in the yard! Oh well, I've lived here all my life so I knew this would happen, but that doesn't mean I like it. It IS pretty though. Lindsey is looking forward to going outside later today.

After the bitter cold weather we had a few weeks ago, we had some warm weather last week and the snow started to melt. Here's our backyard Wednesday morning...

If it was early January, I would welcome the snow. But we're at the point of winter where I WANT SUMMER! :-)
